"The activist is not the man who says the river is dirty. The activist is the man who cleans up the river."

Dear Friends,

As we all know... Environment starts with us and not to forget it ends on us too. Climate change, deforestation and loss of biodiversity are some of the global challenges we all are well acquainted with. Every one of us are equal contributor to all these environment problems and it should be our moral duty too to think about them. Being youth, the responsibilities are more on our shoulders to protect mother earth. As Gandhiji said, ‘Earth has everything to satisfy everyone’s need but not everyone’s greed’. We have to ensure that we are enough informed about the after effects and what problems our future generations will suffer due to our negligence.

Eco One is one of such initiatives taken in the south campus of Banaras Hindu University better known as Rajiv Gandhi South Campus. Come Join us for the environment needs you. If every one has right to pollute then every one has the responsibility to protect. Here we are starting unitedly for an eco friendly campus... it doesn’t matter which course you belong... it doesn’t matter if you are teacher or a student or staff... it is the community which sings only green.. It is our environment and we are its stakeholders!
Lets join hands .. this time... every time... together for sharing, caring and serving the environment around us.

Your small contributions today could bring a big difference tomorrow! Its never too late... and if its late... then better late than never!
